Healing Ministry
A healing ministry is offered through prayer and worship at Great Whelnetham
Church at 6pm every fifth Sunday. In addition, the team are always willing
to meet with individuals, and to offer ministry in homes and care homes.
Lay Elders
There is also a good team of lay elders who have been
appointed by the churches to assist the Rector in her ministry in many ways. Apart
from helping to lead worship, they visit sick and housebound people at home or
in hospital. Some are involved in a preparation course for those being
baptised; others visit the bereaved. This table lists their names and
