"Breeze" Contemporary Worship

A celebration of God, His wonderful love for us, and our faith!  Based on contemporary-style Christian music in an informal setting. Held periodically on Saturday evening, 6pm, at Lawshall Parish Church.  Next Breeze: TBD.

Children and Young People

Children and young people are encouraged to take an active part in worship and life of all the Churches in the Benefice.  A play area and/or activity bags are available at Lawshall, Hawstead and Stanningfield.

All services are "family-friendly" but there are two services each month that are specifically designed for the whole range of ages to enjoy together and which feature a crèche:

Type Date/time/venue Description
Family Worship 2nd Sunday of month, 11:00 am, Lawshall An interactive service, lasting 45 minutes.  It includes the all-age music group and often drama.
Family Eucharist 3rd Sunday of month, 9:30 am, Gt Whelnetham A special service designed for all ages to gather around the Lord's Table.

Tuesday Fun and Madness Club

Primary Schools

The Benefice takes an active part in the two church voluntary controlled schools in Lawshall and Gt Whelnetham.

Friday "Nip In"

This new informal gathering is off to a great start.  Meeting every other Friday from 10:30 to 12:30 in a home setting in Lawshall, the aim is to provide a warm welcome to all ages, make available a listening ear, and offer practical help.  It's a great chance to catch up with friends and hear the latest news.  Lifts are available.  For more information and meeting dates, email the Rector or e-mail the webmaster.

Activities at Nursing Homes

Services are held at nursing and care homes in the Benefice.  See the monthly newsletter for details.
